Hey everyone!
I'm here today with a birthday card I made on order. The only brief I had from the client was that the card be something that could be displayed in a shelf long after the birthday has passed. So my obvious choice was an easel card. But I didn't want to do a normal one. I used a double twisted easel card because the extra panels gave me space to put in little sentiments apart from the birthday message. Have included 2 tags for the family to put in their messages as well.
Lets have a look
A close up of the left panel
The image is a Micia stamp i got from lulupu. I stamped and coloured the blooms, used some glossy accents and stickles. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado stamped on PP with love letter dew drop.
I recently got some Bo Bunny stamps, on the back of which was a little tip that you scuff the stamp with a regular pink eraser for great inking. I've always had trouble inking fiskars and inkadinkado, so i thought "why not?" And boy, did it work!! my happy birthday came out crisp and clear! Im so happy and this has solved all my inking issues with acrylic stamps :) So everyone who's having trouble with inking, just scuff the top with any eraser, dust off the stamp and you're good to go!! :)
The butterfly is also an easel which you can see here. Got the idea from the easel card to begin with. Shall share a tute for it in my next post :)
A look at the left side
I used a spellbinders die to cut the window and then planted blooms in the sill.. :) i loved the cute lil effect its made :) some punch out butterflies for flights of fancy :) the sentiment is from kaiserkraft :)
Hope you liked them :)
